Anécdota is a conceptual restaurant located in Zona Colonial, Dominican Republic. Already in a place full of culture and history, Anécdota invites its guests to gather, create, share and connect through what keeps humankind going: stories.
Concept. Branding. Art Direction. Production.

AN. EC. DO. TE. Noun. A short amusing or interesting story about a real incident or person. Story, tale, narrative.
Visual Approach. The use of texture, grain and blue help evoke nostalgia to inspire reflection.
Menus. Inspired by the intimate experience of flipping through one’s journal, menus include thoughtful
reminders and metaphor questions to spark conversations, ideas and ultimately, new memories.
Cookbook. As an extension of the Restaurant experience, the Cookbook is an optional takeaway for guests to reminisce. Carrying on the same tone of the menus, the layout is a combination of collage references and junk journaling. Intentional, intimate, and engaging.
